Next, in 2004, Steve co-founded and served as VP of Product Management at HotChalk.com, a K12 curriculum management software firm that has been rated as one of the fastest growing Internet education properties. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jon Fenner has been engaged by Venalytica, Inc. as Consulting Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. He is directing the company’s product development efforts. Jon is also a co-founder of ProductFactory and HotChalk where he developed the product as well as managed the company infrastructure. Jon is the CEO of Auraquest, Inc., a software and services firm. He has a broad skill set, spanning from high-level architectural design down to low-level coding, across a wide variety of hardware platforms and software technologies. Mr. Fenner has a long history of technical consulting, with previous clients including Sabre Technologies, Agile Corporation, American Airlines, Motel 6, and Bank of America. He graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

His financial tools have been adopted by hundreds of companies, and he speaks frequently on finance and entrepreneurship.

Drew is a former Director of the early-stage VC firm Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation and he now advises founding teams on building value and growing their companies. Erik J. Heels has joined the Advisory Board of Venalytica, Inc. Erik is a patent and trademark attorney who has been on the Internet since 1984. He has extensive experience working in high-tech companies such as Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN), Cayman Systems, and Verio Inc. In 1992, Erik wrote The Legal List, the first book published simultaneously on the Internet and in print. Erik's 15 minutes of fame started after reviews of that book appeared in The New York Times, Wired, Internet World, and elsewhere. He has been writing the "nothing.but.net" column for the ABA's Law Practice magazine since 1996 and regularly speaks about issues related to law and technology. After law school, he worked for various Internet companies, including a four-year stint with Verio, which was sold for $6 billion cash in the largest cash deal in Internet history. In 2001, he launched Clock Tower Law Group. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and his JD from the University of Maine School of Law. |
